I have a flip phone with text messaging I’m paying .10 (cents) a text I’d like to change my plan to $3.00 a month text fee how do I change the fee I just put texting on my phone the gentleman I spoke with gave me a choice of plans .10 a text or $3.00 month as I said I want $3.00 a month plan and how many text message does the $3.00 a month cover

According to their website, $3.00/month gives you 500 texts/month. You should be able to upgrade your text plan by calling them...866-359-5606

I purchased this phone service for mom... she's 92 with Dementia. Received an email regarding an attempted change on her account. Called to find out what happened was told they couldn't help unless I had the password. *** it's been a while since I set this up don't remember, however I have all information other than that to prove who I am and who she is. They tell me no go unless she calls to verify. What part of 92 w/Dementia is not understood? Pain in the behind...unless you enjoy torment find another way.

Quality of GreatCall Phones

We have used GreatCall for years. The biggest problem is they only offer one brand of phones. Alcatel. I guess the smart phone is OK but the flip phone is a piece of junk. My husband only uses a flip phone and hates their phone. He now uses A T & T. They should offer other brands of phones and let the customer choose the best they can afford. Customer service is ok most of the time.

my plan was $22.99 per phone when I first signed up, later there was a change which dropped charge to $!4.99 when the new plan came up I was grandfathered in at the $22.99 and was never notified of the reduce cost. I had sprint for 17 years. My last two phones were i phones. I still use my iphone 5 at home, using wifi. I got jitterbug for calls. I'm saving money but in order to do so, one must make sacrifices. The phones are cheap junk and more complicated than i phones. However ill deal with it until i had enough and I'll switch.

I have had my smart jitterbuy phone for 2 months and hate it. Grandkids cant understsnd it, the help line cant understsnd it. It will not let me text certain people it will not let some calls come though & ring tone to low even on hi. My best friend has never been able to call me it will not go though. Some times it will text other times it says no server, battery will not kast a day.

GreatCall - Great concept but not a good experience

1. I went through 3 replacements in 3 weeks. 2. "Expedited Delivery" is regular mail from when Great Call ships it. 3. Multiple calls all over 20 to 30 minute wait times. 4. Flip does pair with car bluetooth BUT not capable of downloading contact list making "hands free" impractical. 5. For an old folks phone the ringer volume is way too low. 6. No alarm clock (for meds reminder). 7. Shorter battery life. 8. 2nd phone did not have "voicemail" tab. Had to be returned. The concept is good. Big easy to read screen, large buttons, simple yes and no keys. If you are a shut-in who does not drive this phone is for you IF you get one that is "pre-activated". If you order one, MAKE SURE you demand it is pre-activated! That seems to be most of the complaints. You send it back and they check it out and send you another one that someone else returned. My user guide was smudged and marked up suggesting the Flip had been around the block a few times before it got to me.

My mother-in-law has the $14.99 plan. After taxes and fees the cost is almost $25.00....shame,shame. I have a $10.00 pageplus plan which is $12.00 after tax...no fees with double minutes and text.
